Help, I Got Promoted to Team Leader!

When I was working in the office of one of my clients last week, one manager passed by and asked if I had time for a coffee. Of course!

She got recently promoted to Marketing Manager and now had to lead a team of 12 people. She was, let’s say, positively concerned and looking forward to this new challenge. However, you don’t learn this at University and there were unfortunately not a lot of inspiring examples in her close environment.

Her biggest concerns were how to manage her time, since she was still involved in her previous role and now had to add being a team leader, and how to manage a group of people towards achieving results.
